What students had to say about the program‘I loved that it was just a chance to talk to someone with more knowledge and wisdom and it was great to get to know someone new during lockdown.’
‘I learnt personal value and traits, leadership style, working with people (bottom to top level), overcoming conflicts, dealing with customer dissatisfaction, moving forward in career!'
‘Really think about your future and what areas you are uncertain about. These are the questions and areas your mentor can offer you advice and hopefully give you ideas on what to look into’.
‘You should participate, it’s a great opportunity and you might as well make the most of it while you’re studying. It’s great how you can enjoy being a student, not worrying about knowing everything, you can just ask lots of questions. It’s not like other networking events where you’re trying to get a job out of it, you’re there to learn and gain skills through hearing about your mentor’s experiences.’
Online Information Sessions
Still not sure if you should participate next year? We will host online information sessions to introduce the program and provide an opportunity for you to hear directly from mentees in the 2022 program about their experiences. The dates and times will be shared soon.
