WORK EXPERIENCE- WORLD’S LONGEST LUNCH & WORLD'S LONGEST BRUNCH 2022

Come and join Peter Rowland Group, in styling The Bank of Melbourne World’s Longest Lunch, the sell-out event of the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival, and this year also in assisting with the design and styling of The Bank of Melbourne World's Longest Brunch!

William Angliss Institute has an exclusive agreement which gives students direct access to be a part of the event. Working alongside festival organisers to bring together a range of events, this is a real opportunity to volunteer and gain hands-on practical experience!

This year the event will be held in the Treasury Gardens.

EVENT DETAILS

World's Longest Lunch

15 x Event crew required

Date: Friday 25 March 2022

Shifts time: 7:00AM – 12:00PM

Address: Treasury Gardens- 2-18 Spring St, East Melbourne VIC 3002

Parking: We suggest getting public transport as street parking is limited

World's Longest Brunch

10 x Event crew required

Date: Saturday 26 March 2022

Shifts time: 7:00AM - 11:00AM

Address: Treasury Gardens- 2-18 Spring St, East Melbourne VIC 3002

ATTIRE / WHAT TO BRING

* Bump in clothing: black jeans or pants, black tee-shirt and jumper and comfortable closed toed shoes or sneakers.

* Also keep in mind, please bring minimal personal items with you, only bring the essentials- water, snack, jumper etc.

TASKS & DUTIES

  • Assist with general event set-up and pack-down (incl. table, seat, signage, barriers etc.)
  • Assist with event styling duties (table arrangements, packing gift bags etc.)
  • Assist with maintaining a tidy and safe event site
  • Answer questions and provide directional assistance to patrons as required

Here you will get to see first-hand the value of organisation, you will be given tasks to do in small teams, as well as working together as a whole team.
