Volunteering Victoria promotes the benefits of volunteering across Victoria. In this introductory session, you will learn about the essentials of volunteering in Australia, including the value of volunteering - to you and to the community - and the rights and responsibilities of volunteers and organisations. You’ll find this session most valuable if you are new to volunteering or would like to learn more – there will be opportunities to ask questions after the session. By the end of the session, you will be better prepared to make the most of your volunteering experience – and we’ll share some current volunteering opportunities in the day, so you can get started right away.
