Event: MFWF, Bank of Melbourne's World's Longest Lunch

Date: Friday 16 March 2018

Location: Bunbury Street, Footscray

For the first time since 1992, Bank of Melbourne World’s Longest Lunch will leave the city for the banks of the Maribyrnong River. Join us for a colourful celebration of one of Melbourne’s most culturally diverse and food-loving communities. The talented artists and

musicians who call Footscray home will help us celebrate in style as we let local inspired flavours lead the way.

1700 diners will get together around a 500-metre long table for three decadent courses prepared by Adam D’Sylva (Tonka, Coda) and Jerry Mai (Annam, Pho Nom), bringing together their Indian, Italian, Vietnamese and Cambodian roots into a modern-Australian feast. Pastry Chef Kay-Lene Tan (Tonka, Coda) will create a dazzling dessert course inspired by her global travels.

William Angliss Institute has an exclusive agreement which gives students direct access to be a part of the event. Working alongside festival organisers to bring together a range of events, this is a real opportunity to volunteer and gain hands-on practical experience!
