The Small Enterprise Association of Australia and New Zealand (SEAANZ) is offering William Angliss Institute students and recent graduates an opportunity to be recognised for their entrepreneurial skills and understanding of small enterprise.
Prizes
- 1st Prize - $2,000
- 2nd Prize - $500
- 3rd Prize - Two free mentoring sessions with the Small Business Mentoring Service (value of $200)
Application Process
Eligibility
- Open to all students (domestic & international) studying at a Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Degree level in foods, tourism, hospitality & events
- Applicants must have completed at least 6 months or more of consecutive study at William Angliss Institute OR be a recent graduate (graduated within the last twelve months)
To apply
Applications should include a cover letter (3 pages maximum) addressing the following points and a copy of your current CV:
- Your reasons for applying for the SEAANZ scholarship
- Experience in starting/running a new business
- Examples of demonstrated entrepreneurial skills
- Anticipated benefits if awarded this scholarship
Please include your Student Number in your application.
An Institute panel will subsequently review the applications to assess your interest in the scholarship, how it may benefit your career in the future and general suitability for this opportunity in order to ensure we select the best candidates. Please note, the decision of the panel will be final.
Winners will be invited to attend the Conference Dinner held at the Angliss Restaurant on Thursday 11 August, 6:30pm - 9:30pm, where the formal awards presentation will take place.
