William Angliss Institute, through its membership of the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), has the opportunity to send two students on the ICCA Student Scholarship Programme to attend 55th ICCA Congress in Kuching, Malaysia from 13-16 November 2016.

ICCA represents the main specialists in organising, transporting, and accommodating international meetings and events, and comprises over 1,000 member companies and organisations in over 90 countries worldwide. 

Each scholarship place includes:

  • Full congress attendance (including education and networking events)
  • Customised briefing on how to get the best out of the Congress
  • Behind the scenes briefing with ICCA Congress-organising staff
  • Personalised mentoring during the Congress by industry professionals
  • Opportunity to post research papers on the ICCA Congress website
  • Opportunity to post CV on the ICCA Congress website
  • Place CV at Student Scholarship Corner during the Congress

  • The following costs are covered:
  • Registration fees
  • Transfers from airport to official hotel in Kuching (only if travelling within official dates)
  • Economy return flight
  • Accommodation costs (maximum of 5 nights)
  • Visa cost if applicable

  • Not covered:
  • Transfers to/from airport in home country
  • F&B costs outside official congress dates
