The Careers and Employment Service hosted its annual Speed Networking Events on Monday 18th and Tuesdsay 19th May. 153 students took the opportunity to meet, greet and network with 60 industry representatives.

Evaluations were conducted at the end of each night, and all feedback received was positive! Attending students were very satisfied with the variety of industry representatives and the night met all their expectations. Crowd favourites includedEssendon Football Club, Jetstar, Trumpet Events, Koko Black, The Lucas Group, Hilton, Crown and Mamasita.

INDUSTRY FEEDBACK

Industry has indicated they are keen to get more involved with students and enjoyed the opportunity to share their career pathways and professional experiences with our students. Some suggested improvements referred to student presentation and preparation.

What did you like most about the night?

"I thought it was a great opportunity for the students to meet people working in their fields. There seemed to be a lot of keen and eager students."
